Linda Long’s interest in the food industry started at her parents’ truck stop in Pennsylvania. She taught high school home economics, and spent a decade in the resort hotel business before establishing a career in the fashion industry—reporting on trends in the U.S. and Europe. She photographs and writes for a variety of vegetarian magazines (notably, American Vegan), and is also a consultant to the media, on plant-based cuisine. She has been quoted in magazines distributed world-wide. Linda is a member of American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), James Beard Foundation (JBF), International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP), and Roundtable of Food Professionals (RFP).
