(Mailing List Information, including unsubscription instructions are located at the end of this message) February 6 2012 We’d like to alert you to updates on our website and to share some news. VALENTINES DAY Tuesday February 14 2012, 6:30 pm A loving way to celebrate Valentines Day is to share a vegan dinner with your special someone or with a group of friends. The American Vegan Society is hosting a Valentines Dinner at Careme’s, the gourmet restaurant at the Academy of Culinary Arts, Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing New Jersey. Under the direction of their faculty, students are preparing an elaborate buffet menu which is sure to please. Besides the pure enjoyment of receiving attentive service, our purpose in hosting group dinners at Careme's is to encourage the Academy to better equip their students to meet the needs of the growing clientele requesting vegan options when they dine out. Culinary work opportunities may start at the Jersey Shore, but these alumni go on to jobs around the globe! To view our Valentines Menu, for pricing and reservations, visit www.americanvegan.org or phone 856-694-2887. Anne Dinshah, author of Dating Vegans: Recipes for Relationships, will be at the Valentines Dinner for a book signing at 6 p.m. The official publication date for Anne’s new book is March, but we will be receiving print copies this week—in time for some Valentine’s Day publicity.
