AVS’ significant collaborative accomplishments with restaurants:
Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant & Bar (1926 Atlantic Ave, Atlantic City & 461 Rt 73 N, W Berlin NJ) – when they began vegan tasting dinners and added menu options, AVS helped promote
Nick’s Pizza (644 N Delsea Dr, Glassboro NJ) – first vegan pizza with vegan cheese available in Glassboro area, since February 2016
Careme’s – Academy of Culinary Arts (5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing NJ) – since 2010 AVS hosts 5-course vegan dinners as events on choice of 2 nights (due to max capacity 65-70 each). Culinary students prepare and serve the meals under the direction of their chef-educators. Vegan has become part of their curriculum, at least once each semester.
Andrea Trattoria Italiana (16 N High St, Millville NJ) – vegan dinner specials nightly added, did the main dish for Millville Progressive Dinner April 16 2016 for 123 people
BoJo’s Ale House (222 N High St, Millville NJ) – veggie tacos added with vegan cheese option, participated in Taste of Millville
Bruni’s Burgers (432 N High St, Millville NJ) – September 10 2016 introduced a homemade beanburger for VegStock Moving Vegan Festival.
November 2016 participated in Taste of Millville (event featured samples at 8 restaurants) with the hit black-beanburger. Provided beanburger salad appetizers for Millville Progressive Dinner 2017
Pilar Restaurant (201 N High St, Millville NJ) – bean-potato pastelillo added, and often steamed veggies, participated in Taste of Millville event November 2016. Provided pastelillo appetizers for Millville Progressive Dinner 2017
Superhero Café (501 N High- Cottage F, Millville NJ) – seasonal fruit salsa with chips added, participated in Taste of Millville
Wildflower Vegan Café (501 N High St, Millville NJ) – cohosts many vegan educational events with AVS such as Taste of Millville, Millville Progressive Dinner 2016 & 2017, movie nights, etc.
Mario’s Pizza (1510 Bay Ave, Ocean City NJ) – first vegan pizza with vegan cheese available in Ocean City began February 2016
Now offers a separate extensive vegan menu.
Eric’s Restaurant & Pizza (98 S West Ave on corner with Chestnut, Vineland NJ) – 5-course vegan meal on Feb 24 2015 for 61 people to celebrate Vegan Cuisine Month. In spring 2016 made first vegan pizza available in Vineland with vegan cheese, offers numerous vegetable toppings, removed all eggs from their pizza dough.
Michael’s Mediterranean Cuisine (2 LaSalle St, Vineland NJ) – 5-course vegan meal on June 14 2015 for 50 people.
February 12 2017 AVS hosted a sold-out, nine-item buffet dinner to enjoy some of the items on the new separate extensive vegan menu!
The Brick Room (49 W Main St, Fredonia NY) – dessert for Fredonia Progressive Dinner 45 people on October 15 2016.
Sold-out 4-course gourmet Valentine dinner showcased 4 new menu items February 9 2017, but currently closed.
Domus Fare (41 W Main St, Fredonia NY) – main course for Fredonia Progressive Dinner 45 people on October 15 2016, often features vegan specials, added vegan pancakes.
Ellicottville Brewing Company – West (34 W Main St, Fredonia NY) – appetizers for Fredonia Progressive Dinner 45 people on October 15 2016.
Fredonia Showcase Dinner debut of 4 items February 28 2017, 41 people attended. Multibeanburger is currently a good seller added to the menu which changes seasonally.
Kasia Coffee (183 E Main St, Fredonia NY) - presented Fredonia Showcase Dinner on May 11 2017. Added to menu: flatbread pizza with almond ricotta, seitan-salad grilled wraps, and portobello-tofu or vegan cheese handmade ravioli. Plus many items available vegan on request.
Uncle Oogie’s Pizza (2119 W Oregon Ave, Phila PA; & 36 E Snyder, Phila PA; 6118 Landis Ave, Sea Isle City NJ) – when they began vegan pizza at Phila stores, AVS helped promote
